Long strategy sessions and the battery problem nobody mentions
Strategy games look calm, but they can drain a battery surprisingly fast because they keep the screen on and the CPU busy planning enemy paths.
The single biggest fix is brightness. Dropping it a couple of notches barely affects readability on most maps and buys real minutes. Turning off high frame rate modes helps too.
I also close background apps before a long session. It sounds obvious, but half the heat coming off my phone during long tower defence runs was other apps waking up.
None of this is dramatic, but stacked together it's the difference between finishing a hard mission and rage-quitting because the phone got hot.
